AN-X ENGINE

Experience expressive, unique analog sounds with the AN-X Engine, fully integrated into the Motion Control system. This engine delivers authentic analog character with two filters, 10 filter types, pulse width modulation, oscillator self sync, ring modulation, FM, wave shaper, and wave folder. Voltage drift and aging settings simulate vintage synth behavior for truly authentic analog warmth.

AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2)

The MODX M8 offers realism and detail with up to 128 Elements per Part, providing an expansive canvas for sound creation. With approximately 10.7 GB of preset AWM2 memory (double the previous MODX/MODX+) and 1.9 GB of user flash memory, you have extensive sonic possibilities for creating "nameable" sounds such as piano, strings, and orchestral instruments.

FM-X

Powerful FM synthesis with 8 operators and 88 algorithms delivers everything from classic electric piano and bell tones to cutting-edge digital textures and evolving soundscapes.

Unique Expression & Control

The MODX M8 features dedicated Part and Scene Selection buttons to control 8 Parts per Performance, providing intuitive control that's particularly beneficial for live performances. All knobs, the Super Knob, Pitch Bend, and Mod Wheel are now High Resolution, delivering smoother performance than previous generations.

Motion Control Synthesis Engine

Interact with sound like never before using powerful tools including Motion Sequences that dynamically automate synth and effect parameters in perfect sync with tempo, the Super Knob for controlling dozens of modulations with a single gesture, and Envelope Follower for shaping sound using input from the A/D or another Part.

Streamline MIDI recording, virtual instrument monitoring, and multi-track audio recording through a single USB cable. MIDI 2.0 delivers high resolution data for note velocity, Super Knob, pitch bend, and modulation.
